Alan spends a ’normal’ week travelling all over the UK, he has travelled the world in his last 12 years at CCP supporting individuals who have experienced severe trauma. Alan has worked on many high profile cases including the disappearance of Madeleine McCann. Previously Alan worked as a social worker in child protection for 14 years and became a partner at CCP in 2005.
In his spare time, you can usually find Alan rocking out at a gig or at his annual ‘unmissable’ visit to Glastonbury with his wife Jayne and his two children. He also enjoys cycling, snowboarding, supporting/shouting at Everton or playing squash for the City of Manchester.
Anna joined CCP in 2003 after completion of her Masters degree in HR and Knowledge Management. Following in her founding Father’s footsteps she quickly became a Partner in 2004 and is responsible for the management of the business. The majority of her working week is spent at our head office and she enjoys travelling to meet new and existing clients throughout the UK.
Anna appreciates her spare time with husband Lee, daughter Georgia and Ray the dog in the great outdoors. Together they enjoy socialising and being host to their friends and family, including her twin sister, Katie. Since October 2015 Anna has helped to fundraise over £10,000 for refugees in Europe, and has personally volunteered in refugee camps in France.
Kevin joined CCP in 1998 and became a partner in 2003 and, is one of the most experienced trauma aftercare clinicians in the UK. Previously a social worker, he provided psychological support to other social workers, psychologists and counsellors recruited by Liverpool Council following the Hillsborough Disaster in 1989. Kevin has worked on many high profile cases around the world during his time at CCP, including the Tunisian terrorist shootings in 2015; the fatal plane crash in Nepal in 2012 in which he supported staff & relatives; and he also supported the survivors, their families and BSES staff following the fatal polar bear attack in 2011 in Norway.
In his free time, Kevin’s biggest passion is playing the guitar and singing lead vocals in his band. He is a proud owner and enthusiast of the MG sports car, husband to Jo, proud father of two children and custodian of his beloved English Setter dog.
Sarah joined the team in June 2012, previously working for private property developers, she has a strong Sales and Marketing background with an excellent financial mind. She spends most of her working week at our Head Office located on the beautiful Bolton Abbey Estate and spends some of her time on the road visiting new customers.
Sarah adores her young daughter Aoife, can be found rocking out at music festivals, she enjoys travelling to new destinations, walking her dog Torres, and entertaining friends and family.
Nicky rejoined CCP in January 2017, having previously been with us from 2001 to 2003. During that time she travelled to many foreign incidents - in Mexico, Egypt and across Europe. She has been a social worker for 25 years, most recently managing a Community Mental Health Team in Swindon.
In her spare time, Nicky is a frequent visitor to the theatre and loves singing in her local choir. She and her husband enjoy travelling, looking after their lovely garden, and walking in beautiful places as often as time allows.
Joanne joined our team in April 2015, previously a member of the Senior Management Team and a practising counsellor at St Mary’s Sexual Assault Referral Centre in Manchester. She spends most of her working week travelling the UK supporting our clients and is always ready to fly worldwide when needed. Within her first year at CCP, Joanne travelled to Singapore, Tunisia, India and France to support our customers, clients after traumatic incidents.
A busy lady you may think, indeed Joanne has three children, enjoys running, is an avid Manchester City fan and has a real passion for good food and wine.
Sally has worked with CCP since September 2012, firstly on our Out of Hours helpline and in January 2015 she joined the team full time. Her working week is mostly spent at Head Office, counselling trauma based calls from our EAP lines and managing the travelling consultants diaries and logistical needs. With ten years experience, Sally has worked in the NHS Primary Care Mental Health Team and at Turning Point delivering counselling for depression.
In her spare time Sally enjoys walking in the local countryside, dancing badly at gigs, socialising with friends and being mama to her feline friend, Polly.
Stewart joined our Out of Hours team 4 years ago. He provides valuable telephone support and advice for those using our 24-hour helpline for trauma and wellbeing issues. He joined the national charity, Cruse Bereavement Care, ten years ago undergoing their training and qualifiying as a bereavement counsellor in 2006, his role has now developed with his responsibilities also including their management, PR and training.
Our young at heart Stewart enjoys the outdoors, keeping fit particularly hill walking in the Lake District and the Yorkshire Dales.
Liz has over twenty years’ experience one to one counselling and family mediation. She has been instrumental in developing courses for those recovering from alcohol and substance abuse and developing an integrated model for working with addiction. Over a number of years Liz transitioned from the voluntary sector over to private practise and has worked on our Out of Hours team for nine years.
Liz enjoys spending time with her family, travelling overseas to experience new cultures and enjoys walking in and around her home town of Harrogate.
