Retailers require psychological first aid following robberies
 CCP has responded to a record number of retail raids this year. Over 50% of staff involved in robberies will experience significant post traumatic reactions such as anxiety, euphoria, sleep deprivation, anger and hyper vigilance. How an employer responds to their employees following an incident is critical for the well being of those affected.
At CCP we help prevent high staff turnover and long term sickness absence by partnering with retailers to offer proactive specialist trauma care. We also offer a wide range of customised training courses to provide staff with the knowledge and confidence to deliver well-timed and appropriate support to those affected in the immediate aftermath of an incident.

British Tourists ‘Petrified’ in Turkey
Clinical Partner Alan Pike and Consultant Sharon Shah travelled to Turkey within hours of the attempted military coup to support terrified holidaymakers in the resort of Marmaris. Britons expecting to spend long days relaxing in the sun instead heard gunfire and witnessed shots being fired from helicopters above, leaving them petrified and in hiding. Our client’s well timed response to the incident allowed reactions to be managed quickly and effectively, enabling the majority of holidaymakers to continue their breaks as planned.

Didcot Power Station Collapse
On 23rd February 2016, at the decommissioned Didcot Power Station, the boiler house partially collapsed fatally injuring 4 people. The site owners, RWE Npower later planned a controlled demolition and the bodies of the missing men were recovered last month. We provided trauma care consultancy to RWE and psychological support to those affected following this very tragic incident.
